Introduction :

Qatar equestrian fedratin organizes at the end of every year H H the Emir Cup tournament under the patronage of Qatar National Olympic Committee. It is meant to reward the horse riders for their efforts. There are certain rules for participation in this event. These rules are:

1- Participants

• 1-1 all the recognized horse riders in Qatar equestrian federation who are over 16 years old and with at least four points in the year of the event can participate in this tournament .
• 1-2 any horse rider can participate in two horses (maximum 2 ) , but the rider must mention before the last run which one of the two horses is to be considered in points achieving and calculating. The horse can not participate twice .

2- The Passing of Riders

• 2-1 the entrance of the riders to the field is determined by a draw which is to be made two days before the start of the tournament , in the presence of the technical committee of the federation and the participants.
• 2-2 the entrance of the riders to the field in the next days will be determined according to their results and points that they achieved.

Points are not given to :

• Disqualified
• Canceled
• Withdrew
• Absented in the entrance

Rules of runs :

All the runs are to be held according to category A without considering the time 350 m/m and with 10 obstacles . In case of duce in the first rank , a final judgment run is to be held by considering the timing and with 6 obstacles .

Number of Obstacles :
They are ten in number.They might be two double or one double or one triple through out the run 450-650 meter.

Finals :

All the riders who passed the heat runs without disqualification will participate in the final .
The final falls into two runs:

• 1-It takes place according to category A without considering time and in case of duce in the first rank, a final judgment run is to be held with keeping the same steps and obstacles but with a change in the course. Ranks of the riders are to be determined according to the results and points that they achieve.
• 2- The second run (the final run)
  All the riders who passed the runs without disqualification will participate in the final and the other riders can be added but without competing for the cup . The finals of the third day fall into two similar runs according to category A without considering time, but in case of duce in the first rank, a final judgment run is to be held with considering timing.

Final Ranking :

The result is to be announced stating the winner of H H cup for 2003-2004 for the one who achieves more points than other participants.

All the riders who are residents of Qatar can participate according to the rules and regulations of the international equestrian federation in paragraph 123 , item 7 and 8 of the general rule , version 20 since the first of January 2000 . Also, according to the technical regulations list of Qatar equestrian federation .
