Vodka Orange De Muze finishes second in a thriller
DOHA – Host Qatar's Vodka Orange De Muze (Darco – Fragance De Chalus) owned and ridden by His Excellency Sheikh Ali Bin Khalid Al-Thani claimed the second place in One round with jump off event at the 7th Qatar International Show Jumping Competition held here at Al-Rayyan Park on Friday.

The 9-year-old Belgium stabled bay horse was only 0.09secs, behind leader Magnum (Goodtimes - Isolde) owned and ridden by Adnan Al-Baitony of Saudi Arabia, who won QAR 5,750. Sheikh Ali gathered QAR 4,500 for second place.

The third rider to finish faultless was UAE's jockey and owner Mohammed R. Al-Soweidi, who took Al-Bareq (Guidam - Esther) to clinch third position with QAR 2,750.

Silvano (Heartbreaker - Nadie) 8-year-old Belgium bred grey horse owned by Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Equestrian Federation and rode by Khalid Al-Eid managed fourth to take home QAR 2,125.

From the 52 riders lined-up, just seven got through to the jump off.

HE Sheikh Hamad Bin Ali Al-Thani, President of QEF felicitated the winners.
