DOHA, March 18, 2009 – HE Sheikh Juan bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani crowned HE Sheikh Ali bin Khalid Al Thani as winner of HH the Emir Show Jumping Championship cup which concluded at the new Al Rayyan premises on Tuesday.
HE Sheikh Ali rode Brigad to claim the first place.
Ali Youssef Al Rumaih on Ravenna managed second, while Faleh Suwaid Al Ajmi rode Vodka Orange for third overall.
The final day of the prestigious event was attended by HE Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, the Secretary General of Qatar Olympic Committee, HE Sheikh Khalid bin Ali Al Thani, the President of Qatar Cycling Federation, Rashid bin Ali Al Mansouri, the president of Qatar Equestrian Federation.
The total prize money for the two–day event reached QR 500,000.
