DOHA, May 24, 2009 \ salman ahmed \  - Brigadier, Khalid Bin Hamad Al Attiyah, president of Qatar Police Sport Association crowned winners of the  Inaugural Police Show Jumping Championship took place at Qatar Equestrian Federation playgrounds on Saturday.

Mr. Rashid Al Mansouri, QEF president participated in crowning ceremony held with attendance of Mrs. Ahlam Al Manea, President of Qatar Women Sports Committee, and Mr. Taleb Al Saaq, QEF secretary general alongside fans

In the first class for the height of 100cm that featured the participation of 34 riders, Salman Mohammed Al Emmadi on "Oroba" occupied the first place ahead of Jassim Hamad Al Attiyah on "Onsider" in the second place while Abdullah Taleb Al Saaq on "White lady" finished third.

Hamad Nasser Al Qadi on "Mashallah" claimed 110 cm event held with participation of 35 riders while Saad Nasser Al Qadhi on "Al Bariq" and Salmin Sultan Al Suwaidi on "Teldra" occupied the second and third places respectively.

In 120 cm class staged with participation of 25 riders, Abdullah Adel Nassar on "Alin" won the first place ahead of Nasser Ahmad Al Rumaihi on "Casanova" in the second place while Khalid Hamad Al Attiyah on "Hold On" managed third

In a press release on Saturday, HH Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Secretary General of Qatar Olympic Committee applauded the concept of organising such splendid tournaments; he also praised QPSA continuous cooperation with all sport federations in the country.
