DOHA, October 29, 2009- Qatar Equestrian Federation continued its preparations for hosing the final round of 2009 Global Champions Tour from November 11 to 14.

The event will be staged at QEF Outdoor Arena in Al Rayan which will offer the ultimate in equine comfort and convenience for riders.

Global championship tour officials have visited Doha including Fried Europe, GCT Director, Suzan Skersm, Director of GCT Marketing, Beter Smilder, GCT Representative and Catrinal Bejanaska, GCT Media Coordinator. 

Coverage of the grand prix will be broadcast live on Eurosport on Friday 13 November and Saturday 14 November and on other international networks, Universal Sports-USA and Al Jazeera Sport-Middle East Countries. The event will also be broadcast on Eurosport Asia-Pacific, Equidia-France and Supersport-South Africa

 Beter Smilder, GCT Representative said the great show jumping event will amaze the whole world and as Doha will host the final from November  11 to 14 ensuring the Doha has all abilities to organize major sports events.

It is worth mentioning GCT will build heritage village at the entrance of outdoor show jumping arena of QEF to show souvenirs to be distributed to spectators. In addition, GCT will bring suitable furniture to the village that goes with its design.

He added the organizers have allocated entrance for VIPs to attend the GCT final in Doha and special entrance for horses away from spectators as they will construct fly over bridge for them.

 GCT Representative Confirmed that the current season’s activities were excellent as the eight previous rounds was successful as they were held Monte Carl, Cannes, Arezzo, Valknswaard, Rio De Janeiro
