Qatar leads sixth international show jumping championship in Riyadh

Riyadh, November 09, 2009- The Qatari riders dominated the final day of the 6th International Show Jumping Championship concluded at arena of General Security in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Sunday.

The championship witnessed the participation of 120 riders from United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Palestine, Yemen, Egypt, Tunisia, and Saudi Arabia as the Money Prizes reached 550,000 Saudi Riyals.

Qatar’s Abdullah Al Nassar won the first place in the seventh class of the championship for the height of 130 CM.

Zaid Al Negaifi of Iraq managed second ahead of Qatar’s Mohammad Talib Al Saaq in the third place while Adel Al Shahri of Saudi Arabia finished fourth.

Saeed Al Qadhi and Mohammad Haydan of Qatar settled in the fifth and sixth place respectively.

In addition, Abdulrahman Talib Al Saaq occupied the fifth place in Grand Prix Class for the height of 145 CM.

The event featured the participation of Khalid Al Eid, Abdullah Al Sharbatli, Prince Abdullah Bin Metaab and Mohammad Ghanim Al Hajri of United Arab Emirates.
