Under
auspices of HE the Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces
Major General Hamad bin Ali Al Attiyah, the Inaugural Armed
Forces Shield Show Jumping Championship will be staged on
Wednesday at the outdoor arena of Qatar Equestrian Federation
(QEF).
The Championship will feature the participation of 120 riders as
the total of money prizes reached 250, 000 QAR.
The organizers of the championship invited Presidents of Sport
Federation, President of Sports Clubs, Officials of Qatar
Olympic Committee, HE Minister of state for International
Affairs, Commander of Amiri Guards, Commander of Internal
Security Forces and Head of State Security Department to attend
the championship.
Mr. Rashid Bin Ali Al Mansouri, QEF President Chaired the
organizing committee of the championship that included Mr.
Mohammad Bin Ali Al Attiyah, the General Coordinator, Brigadier
Ibrahim Bin Saad Al Rumaihi, representative of Armed Forces,
Mr.Taleb Metaab Al Saaq, Head, Director of the championship, Mr.
Nawaf Al Ali, Head of Appeals Committee, Dr. Majid Al Malki,
Head of Referees Committee, Mr. Saleh Ali Salmeen, Head of
Technical Committee, Mr. Saleh Al Ghanim, Head of Public
Relations Committee, Mr. Abdullah Al Amri, Head of Services
Committee, Mr. Rashid Kahoura, Head of Facilities Committee.
QEF
President wished the championship to succeed and expressed his
appreciation to HE Sheikh Saoud Bin Abdulrahman Al Thani,
Secretary General of Qatar Olympic Committee for his support to
QEF.
Al Mansouri praised the initiative of Armed Forces to hold the
championship and lauded the cooperation between QEF and Armed
Forces.
QEF President thanked HE the Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed
Forces Major General Hamad bin Ali Al Attiyah for such new
championship and for his support to Qatari equestrian. |
