Under
auspices of HE the
Chief of Staff of the
Qatari Armed Forces
Major General Hamad bin
Ali Al Attiyah, the Inaugural Armed Forces Shield Show Jumping
Championship was staged on Wednesday at the outdoor arena of
Qatar Equestrian Federation (QEF).
The Championship featured the participation of
120 riders as the total of money prizes reached 250, 000 QAR.
The event was attended by HE the Chief of Staff
of the Qatari Armed Forces Major General Hamad bin Ali Al
Attiyah,
Rashid Al Mansouri, QEF President, Mohammad Bin
Ali Al Attiyah, Coordinator of championship, Taleb Metaab Al
Saaq, QEF
Secretary General,
Saleh Al Ghanim, Head of
Public Relations and Media Committee.
Ali
Bin Khalid Al Thani won the main class held at the height of 135
CM. Yousif Al Rumaihi occupied the third place ahead of Bassim
Seif in fourth place while Salmin Al Suwaidi settled in fifth
place.
HE
the Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces Major General
Hamad bin Ali Al Attiyah said the new administration of QEF
under chairmanship of Rashid Al Mansouri gave a great attention
to new generation the riders and encouraged them to accomplished
precious achievements.
HE the Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed
Forces lauded the efforts of QEF officials to develop and
enhance the level of Qatari equestrian and stressed the
importance of cooperation between Qatari Armed Forces and QEF.
Al Attiyah expressed his happiness about the
new generation of riders and applauded the sport facilities of
QEF.
In the first class at the height of 90 CM,
Hamad Bin Ali Al attiyah occupied the first place. Mohammad
Dhafi Al Ardi managed second while Jassim Al Ghazali settled in
the fourth place. |
