DOHA, December 20, 2009 – The Qatar
International Championship on National Day and Founder Cup will
conclude at the arena of Qatar Equestrian Federation on Tuesday.
The championship is crucial round in the Arab Show Jumping
League, as the winners qualify to the World Cup 2010 in USA.
Around 150 riders representing Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain,
Kuwait, UAE, Yemen, Syria, Spain, Lebanon, Egypt and Britain
participate in the QAR 755,000 richer championship.
Monday’s competitions were attended by sheikh Saoud Bin
Abdulaziz Bin Khalid Al Thani, Sheikh Mohammad Bin Nawaf Al
Thani, Talib Metaab Al Saaq, Director of the championship and
heads of participating delegations.

Al Jenaibi of UAE occupied the first place in the main class.
Abdullah Al sharbatli of Saudi Arabia managed second while
Abdullah Al Merri of UAE settled in the third place.
Abdullah Nassar claimed first place in first class for the
height of 120 CM ahead of Bassim Hassan of Yemen in the second
place while Salim Al Suwaidi of UAE finished third.
In the third class for the height of 140 CM, Ramzi Al Dahami of
Saudi Arabia won the first place while Abdullah Al Sharbatli and
Fahad Al Juwaili of Saudi Arabia settled in the second and third
place respectively. |
