February 28, 2010 (Salman Ahmad Salman)- Under the Patronage of
Rashid Bin Ali Al Mansouri, President of Qatar Equestrian
Federation, QEF, the fifth round of Qatar Local Show Jumping
Championship was held at QEF Arena on Saturday.
The event
featured the participation of 125 riders competed in fourth
different classes. The riders of Qatar national team have took
part in the fifth round in preparation for HH Emir Show Jumping
Cup from March 08 to 10, 2010.
Rashid Bin
Ali Al Mansouri, QEF President, Tableb Metaab Al Saaq, QEF
Secretary General, Hamad Bin Mohammad Al Attiyah, and Ahmad Al
Badawi, QEF Technical Expert crowned winners of the four
classes.
 Hamad
Salem Fetais Al Merri claimed the first place in first class for
the height of 100 CM as he finished the course in 30,70 seconds
without faults. Nasser Al Jassim Al Ghazali managed second with
50, 30 seconds while Hamad Tuwaim Al Merri settled in the third
place with 53, 28 seconds.
In the
second class for the height of 110 CM, Hamad Nasser Al Qadhi
won the first place with 56,30 seconds. Salem Rashid Al Merri
occupied the second place with 64, 87 seconds head of Masarah
Muhsen Ibrahim in the third place with 68, 90 seconds.
Rashid Al
Mansouri, stressed the importance of the fifth round of Qatar
Local Show Jumping Championship for the federation and riders as
the event comes in light of the preparations for HH Emir Cup in
March 2010. |
